Published 11 May 2016

Tate Modern presents Mona Hatoum’s performance and installation work from the past 35 years; we take a look.

The Lebanese-born Palestinian artist specialises in video and installation art that looks at conflict, confrontation, violence and anxiety. This is the first major solo exhibition of Mona Hatoum's work in the UK and displays early sketches through to more recent pieces. Tate's curator of modern and contemporary British art, Clarrie Wallis explains what makes her work so special.

Mona Hatoum is on at Tate Modern until 21 August 2016, 50% off with a National Art Pass.
