Rory Stewart will discuss his career as a British diplomat, author, explorer, academic and politician, as well as tutor to princes William and Harry.

His experience as a minister, including International Development Secretary, and former Conservative leadership and London mayoral candidate, offer insights into the state of British democracy. Hear him discuss his thoughts on British identity, government, community and constitution today.

This event is part of a new series of conversations with contemporary thinkers called Pitzhanger Perspectives, inspired by Sir John Soane’s use of Pitzhanger as a forum for interesting encounters and enlightening debate.
