Discover the inspiration behind the latest novels by Stacey Halls and Sonia Velton in this online event.

Instagram reviewer Zosha Nash (@shelfobsessed) speaks to authors Stacey Halls and Sonia Velton about their latest books, and the inspiration they drew from the history of the Foundling Hospital. Stacey’s Sunday Times bestseller The Foundling (2020) is her second book, set against the vibrant backdrop of Georgian London. Sonia’s debut novel, Blackberry and Wild Rose (2019), tells the story of a fictional household of master silk weavers living in 18th-century Spitalfields.

There will be a live Q&A with the authors following the discussion.
