Enjoy a visit to the newly opened and transformed Royal Shakespeare Company theatre. Opened to the public in November 2010 it combines the best of the existing Art Deco building with many bold new architectural features.

The afternoon begins with a scrumptious cream tea served at the Arden Hotel, directly oppostie the theatre. Brian Phillips has negotiated an exclusive talk by the Curator's department of the RSC museum and a walk through the RSC's heritage collection. In addition, there will be a guided tour of the theatre building.

There are exhibitions throughout the building and 50 miniature artworks hidden in the walls around the theatre for you to explore.

The party will meet at the Arden Hotel at 3 pm. Full joining instructions, including parking, will be sent to those taking part.

Entry details

Tickets are £20 per person. As the party size is limited early application is recommended.

Please apply for tickets to the address below by Tuesday 24th May enclosing a stamped self-addressed envelope or e-mail address, and a cheque payable to the Art Fund. (Cheques are non-refundable after that date.)

All events raise money for the Art Fund. Donations will be greatly recieved.
