It includes the first example of a trulleus manufactured by the 1st century Pompeian workshop of Publicus Cipius Polybius. The hoard, which is of great academic interest, adds significantly to the designated archaeological collections and enhances the Roman display at Salisbury.

Discovered on the land of Mr A W Neish in Wiltshire by a metal detectorist, Mr P A Bancroft.
