The inscription has both a religious and tallismanic nature, and reads 'AVE MARIA GRACIA PLENA DOMI' and 'IESUS NAZARENUS REX IUDEOUM' (sic).
Found by a metal detectorist in Lackford, West Suffolk, November 2002; declared Treasure.
