This bough pot is in excellent condition and retains its original lid.
The gilding and painting depict a basket of flowers on a marble shelf, which may have been the work of William Billingsley, although opinion is divided on this attribution. The Pinxton Porcelain Factory was established in 1796 by John Coke and William Billingsley.
