A large chalice and cover with a clouded and mottled glaze over a pale grey and ivory ground.

The interior is a similar colouring and glazing. Howson Taylor at the Ruskin Pottery continually responded to changing fashion and the factory produced a large range of glazes and wares, no one of which was alike.
