The dish has been raised from a single piece of flat plate and has a part fluted circular form, on rim foot, engraved with crest and motto.

The piece is heavily made with a scratch weight of 19oz 8d, which is typical of the quality of much Edinburgh plate, combining strength with simple form.


Provenance not established. The Item bears an engraved crest, recorded in Fairburn as belonging to four Scottish Familieis (Craufurd, Keith, Lindsay McCulloch and Robe).
