Chinese armorial dish decorated with the arms of the Pulteney family in the centre and the crest of Pulteney four times on the rim.

The border has gilt flowers and foliage. Diameter 26.7 cm.


Made for William Pulteney, created Earl of Bath in 1742; been in the Phil Cooke collection since the 1930s.
