Three unfinished Iron Age gold torqs (neck rings), together with a length of narrow gold wire.

The maker was probably responsible for their concealment 2,000 years ago. Their condition is good, but they were damaged in antiquity.

Provenance

Found Alrewas, Staffordshire (metal detected find) and declared Treasure Trove on 26th June 1996.
