Collection of three carved ivories by Unknown Artist

Part of decoration of elaborate pieces, brought to Assyria as tribute from Syria or Phoenicia: 1) Winged ram-headed sphinx infretted relief, 8 x 7 cm.

Excavated by Professor M.E.L.Mallowan, Fort Shalmaneser, Nimrud.
