Two large covers with applique work, Italian, late 16th and early 17th centuries; and an embroidered coverlet, English, early 18th century.
Currently missing from the collection. Part of four gifts and two bequests to twenty-three museums by Jean and Rachel Alexander through the Art Fund between 1921 and 1973.
