Henry Hastings, a significant figure in Elizabethan history, is shown wearing armour which is illustrated under the title 'the Earle of Leicester' in the 'Jacobe Album' a book of contemporary drawings of armour from the Royal workshops at Greenwich, in the V&A.
THe armour is now lost.
