The last male heir in the family which owned Haigh Hall. The house was demolished and rebuilt in 1827.


Painted for Sir Roger and Lady Bradshaigh; probably Elizabeth Echlin, Lady Bradshaigh's sister; Elizabeth Palmer, her daughter, and by descent to Emma MacKinnon; by descent to her great-great-grandson, MacKinnon. Sotheby's 1980.
