Portrait of Mlle Albertine Hayard by Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres

Like so many of Ingres' portrait drawings, this charming study was made in Rome when he was a pensionnaire at the Villa Medici and largely dependent for his income on pencil portraits of visitors to the city.
