Saint George: Memorial to Lt. Francis L. Mond RFA RAF by Sir George Frampton

Saint George stands in full armour, holding a shield and a staff with a banner but his head is bowed in mourning for Francis Mond, an RAF lieutenant aged 22 who was killed in an air fight over Northern France on 15 May 1918.
