200 pieces of oriental porcelain, of which about half are painted in underglaze blue from the Imperial Factory at Chung Te Chen during the K'ang Hsi period (1662-1772).

The majority are ovoid and baluster vases, among which large sizes predominate. There is a wide range of decorative patterns and all shades of blue are represented. The monochrome porcelains of the K'ang Hsi, Yung Cheng (1723-35) and Ch'ien Lung (1736-1795) periods are well represented. These works are part of a larger bequest which included pictures, prints, Oriental ceramics and silver plate.
