This early Medieval silver-gilt object was found in the Montrose area of Angus, Scotland.

The object is decorated with clusters of cast pellets and interlace and is most probably a ring bezel, although the central inset is missing. It now enters the collections of Angus Museums as an example of high-status objects worn by local people in the early Medieval age.
