He studied zoology at Oxford and has been an artist in residence at the Eden Project, the Glastonbury Festival, and on the Greenpeace ship Esperanza. Jay Screech, Oak and Hawthorne represents a scene in the New Forest, an ecologically significant and much-loved landscape close to Southampton where this work will now be displayed.
