The University of Dundee Museum Collections have been given £100,000 through the Art Fund’s Renew scheme to develop a collection of art inspired by D’Arcy Thompson, the University’s first Professor of Biology.

The grant allowed the Museum to acquire 20thcentury works as well as commission contemporary artists to create new pieces.

Owned by the artist and created during or shortly after her residency in the D’Arcy Thompson Zoology Museum earlier this year
