The University of Dundee Museum Collections have been given £100,000 through the Art Funds Renew scheme to develop a collection of art inspired by DArcy Thompson, the Universitys first Professor of Biology.

The grant allowed the Museum to acquire 20thcentury works as well as commission contemporary artists to create new pieces.
