Caughley Double-Handled Sauceboat by Caughley Porcelain Manufactory

This soft-paste porcelain sauceboat, decorated with floral patterns in underglaze blue, is a strong example of porcelain from the Caughley factory, which was established in the late 18th century by Ambrose Gallimore and Thomas Turner.
