Join Gairloch Museum's annual general meeting, followed by Dr Alison Sheridan who will share her knowledge on Highland archaeology especially on the prehistoric objects within the museum's collection.

Dr Alison Sheridan is a Research Associate and Former Principal Archaeological Research Curator (Prehistory) at National Museums Scotland. She was formerly President of the Prehistoric Society and was named Archaeologist of the Year at the prestigious Current Archaeology awards in 2020.

With an impressive career and publications record, Alison will be discussing her current work on the Highland Archaeology Research Framework with a specific focus on the prehistoric objects within Gairloch Museum's collection.

Gairloch Museum's annual general meeting will take place 7.30-7.55pm and the talk will resume at 8pm. Agenda available on request.

Open to members and non-members, the AGM and talk are a highlight in the calendar of the museum.
