Two distinctive voices in British photography come together for a vibrant celebration of the seaside. Beside The Sea pairs internationally acclaimed photographer Martin Parr with Brighton-based JJ Waller, offering a playful and unexpected look at life on the coast.

Curated in collaboration, each artist has selected images from the other’s archive, resulting in a lively conversation between their respective styles. Parr’s contributions include his groundbreaking series capturing working-class holidaymakers in 1980s New Brighton alongside Waller’s sharp, affectionate portraits of Brighton and the Sussex coast.
