Journey through the mists of time at RAMM by creating your very own fossil for explorers of tomorrow to learn about the world
Fossils are fascinating snapshots of the distant past, trapping everything from dinosaur bones to ancient insects and even old leaves inside mud and clay. By studying them, scientists are able to understand what the world was like millions of years ago.
But, a million years from now, what might a scientist find fossilized from the world we life in, and how might they understand us?
Using flattened pancakes of air-dry clay, you can capture a moment in time.
We’ve gathered a curious collection for you to press and preserve, from the delicate textures of leaves, shells, and twigs to the unexpected imprint of the modern world, like bottle caps and toy wheels.
Just as ancient fossils reveal the mysteries of millions of years ago, create a keepsake that asks the ultimate question: what story will your fossil tell future explorers?
