Step out on a guided sensory walk in the gardens with sound artist Gaia Blandina and eco-poet Bryony Aitchison
Join sound artist Gaia Blandina and eco-poet Bryony Aitchison for a guided sensory walk through Beningbrough’s gardens, inspired by the sculptural willow loops of Laura Ellen Bacon’s exhibition Whispers of the Wilderness. This immersive experience invites participants to engage creatively with the landscape through listening, movement, and poetic prompts, exploring the rhythms and textures of nature.
Part of the University of York’s Side Quests research project, the walk blends sound, poetry, and place-based reflection, encouraging a dream-like awareness of visual and sonic patterns in the environment.
Please note along with the event ticket price (£12.50), normal admission charges to Beningbrough apply (free to National Trust and Art Fund card holders).
