Works by one of Britain's leading land artists go on display in Derby.

Richard Long's 1967 work A Line Made by Walking was a milestone in contemporary art. A photograph of a straight track that Long had created by walking back and forth through grass, it blurred performance and artwork in a way that would become thematic of late 20th-century art.

Throughout Long's career he has had an abiding preoccupation with nature and natural materials, whether in Boliva or the British countryside.
