Duncombe Park and English Heritage architectural store - SOLD OUT

In the morning, visit Duncombe Park on the outskirts of Helmsley. This Baroque mansion was built in 1713. The house in not generally open to the public and this group will be guided by Jame Duncombe.

A light lunch will be taken at the Black Swan in Helmsley.

In the afternoon, visit English Heritage's architectural store with curator Susan Harrison. This unusual building on the outskirts of Helmsley houses some 800,000 objects from English Heritage site in the North of England with items from prehistory to modern times. View some of these objects and learn about their stories.

This event has been organised by the North Yorkshire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
