Well-known lecturer Frank Woodgate will give a private introductory lecture to the Tate Britain's exhibition Late Turner - Painting Set Free which surveys the achievements of JMW Turner during his final period 1835-1850. Some of his most celebrated works were created during this period - a time of exceptional energy and vigour, initiated by an extensive tour of Europe.

The group will gather for coffee at 10.30 am followed by Frank's lecture at 11 am. which will provide an invaluable introduction to the tour of the exhibition.

This event has been organised by the Kent Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
