Reception and Private View: Collections of The Faculty of Advocates

The Dean of the Faculty of Advocates, Mr Richard Keen QC, has kindly invited members and their guests to a reception in Parliament Hall, followed by tours of the Faculty's private premises, including the Laigh Hall, by the Dean and some of his colleagues.

At 6.30pm Dr Duncan Thomson, former Keeper of the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, will give a talk on the collections, which include the Flodden Banner, rare books and manuscripts, sculptures and the famous collection of portraits which date from the seventeenth century to the present day.

Wine and canapes will be served.
