Dr Simon Thurley became Curator of the Historic Royal Palaces in 1989 and went on to become Director of the Musuem of London in 2002 before becoming Chief Executive of English Heritage in 2005.Dr Thurley is an architecural historian and has written a number of books and presented a series of television programmes. He is restoring Clifton House in Kings Lynn and is a stron advoate for All Saints Church in the same town. The lecture takes place in the Town Close Auditorium at Norwich Castle Musuem and Art Gallery. Before the lecture members will be able to have a private view of two special exhibitions 'Peoples choice' and 'This is Modern Art! '.
