Preserving community memories, lived experiences and heritage, asking what future generations should remember.

Through Stories of Harrow sixteen community organisations have come together to preserve Harrow’s living heritage before it is lost. This exhibition shares selected voices from the archive and focuses in particular on the memories and lived experiences of Harrow’s older generation.

“The young don’t understand … As you mature, you realise everything is transient. All we have really is now. Those that are coming up behind you - what do you leave for them?”

Visit this exhibition and ask yourself “What story would you like to share about your life with future generations?”
