Create a shared artwork filled with flowers, plants and creatures, as well as your own art piece to take home.
Inspired by the tiles of the Arab Hall, children will work with ceramicist Nibras Al-Salman to create a shared artwork filled with flowers, plants and creatures, as well as their own art piece to take home. Adults will gain an introduction to ceramics, particularly the Damascus and Iznik tiles in the museum, while children engage with playful clay-making.
This fun-filled, creative workshop will also encourage adults to unleash their own creativity whilst helping their child to explore a world of imagination, boosting health and wellbeing in a relaxing environment.
£6/child - accompanying adult is free
Useful Information
Family Fun workshops are designed for primary school children, age 5 to 10 years old.
Children must be accompanied by an adult during the workshop - workshops are not drop-off and the accompanying adult must stay with their child.
To avoid disappointment, please do not book tickets for children / siblings under 5, as they will not be able to participate. Additional family members accompanying younger siblings are welcome to enjoy our café and garden during the workshop.
To avoid disappointment and disruption to other families, please arrive on time. Arrivals 30 minutes after the start time will not be able to join the workshop.
The workshops will take place in the Leighton House Learning Centre and might include access to the historic house.
Accompanying adults (1x per child) come for free and admission to the historic house is included in the ticket price.
Family Fun workshops are popular. If you are no longer able to attend, please let us know.
