I can see a Rainbow: a Whistlestop Tour through the Science of Colour
Learn about the science of colour.
Mark Whalley will answer questions such as: Why are leaves green? Why do we even have colours? Why do objects appear the colour that they do? We will look at the science of colour, from understanding where the colours in the rainbow come from through to thinking about photosynthesis and why (most) leaves are green. We will even go beyond the colours we can see and consider the invisible universe, shedding ‘light’ on the invisible.
The event is part of the ‘Wonders of Colour’ programme, supported by the Royal Society of Chemistry.
