Learn about the process of dyeing wool and other fibres with plants from gardens and hedgerows.

Fiona Nisbet, from the South Cheshire and Borders Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers, will explain the process of dyeing wool and other fibres including cottons, linens and silks with plants from gardens and hedgerows. Fiona will bring a variety of samples as well as a few of her handwoven and hand knitted creations.

This event is part of the ‘Wonders of Colour’ programme, supported by the Royal Society of Chemistry.
