This workshop day will introduce you to some of the methods used to create accurate and neat drawings.
Want to gain a practical methodology to drawing? Get a grasp of some fundamental techniques, conventions and necessary ideas in drawing and illustrating found objects, figures and scenes? This workshop day will introduce you to some of the methods used to create accurate and neat drawings, working at scale, working digitally, composition planning for narrative and communicative 2d artwork. The day will consist of drawing sessions intermixed with short talks and demonstrations.
Both tutors have experience dealing with and drawing museum artefacts and archaeological finds both in traditional analogue materials and digitally.
There will be a selection of artefacts from the museum to draw. Essential tools, materials and paper that you will need are provided.
Pack lunch and all day teas and coffees included.
