Study the proportions and features of an individual human model and bring out the character and personality of a person.

Study the proportions and features of an individual human face from a model and bring out the character and personality of a person through painting and drawing. Set the subject in a space and consider the person in relation to its immediate environment with the tutor on hand to help you achieve your representation. . During the day there will be a talk and discussion on contemporary portrait practice in the UK.

Paper and drawing materials are available, bring your own paints or favourite mediums and materials especially if you have something particular you wish to explore, experiment with or develop further.

A pack lunch and all day teas and coffees are included.
