Family-friendly musical performances

Step into the magical world of Jungle Island in this lively, family-friendly storytelling adventure – part of the Lake District Music – Summer Festival 2025.

Leo the Lion can’t sleep – his favourite star has disappeared! Join Leo as he teams up with his jungle friends to find his favourite star.

This delightful performance blends storytelling, live music and illustration to bring Leo’s journey to life. Featuring:

  • Faz Sha – Engaging storyteller

  • Lizzie Finlay – Live illustration

  • Arran Kent – Musician and soundscapes

Performances are at 11:30am, 2pm and 3:30pm. Each performance lasts approximately 45 minutes. Perfect for children aged 3-5.

This is a ticketed event, £7 for adults and £2 for children. Book your tickets here. This event is organised by Lake District Music.

November - March

10am - 4pm

We will be closed on 25–26 December 2024. The Museum will also be closed from 20–31 January 2025, but the café and shop will reopen on 22 January.
