Celebrate all things prehistoric and poopy by making a pot of your own dinosaur slime or poo at Lancaster's oldest town house. Bring your little monsters to try our dino trail around the garden and be a real palaeontologist digging up some 'dino' bones.
£2 per child. Adults accompanying children to the activity only are free but if visiting the rest of the museum, normal admission charges apply; £5 for adults, under 18 years free. No booking required.

Opening times
The museum is open 11am - 4pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the season. The season is Thursday 3rd April - Sunday 16 November 2025. The building is also open for our Dark History tours throughout the winter and for pre-booked school visits and pre-booked private tours.
