Step outside the museum into expansive gardens designed by renowned landscape architects. The contemporary New American Garden features ornamental grasses, roses and seasonal flowers. In contrast, the Mount Vernon Garden, showcases a vegetable garden supplying fresh produce for the museum's cafe. For families, the Children's Garden provides a fun and interactive space for exploration.

Experience the taste of the USA at the American Garden Deli, serving a range of homemade American inspired food and drink, on a terrace offering panoramic views over the Limpley Stoke Valley.

Housed in a Grade I listed Georgian manor house, the museum holds a variety of talks, tours, and events throughout the year, catering to all ages and interests.
