The Henry Moore Institute hosts a year-round programme of exhibitions, conferences, lectures, research, fellowships and publications which aim to expand the understanding and scholarship of historical and contemporary sculpture.

Part of the Henry Moore Foundation which was set up by Henry Moore in 1977 to encourage appreciation of the visual arts, the institute also curates the Leeds Museums and Galleries sculpture collection which is on display in Leeds Art Gallery.
