The British Wildlife Photography Awards have captured the imagination of photographers from all over the UK over the past decade. These beautiful award-winning photographs will be exhibited in the glorious surroundings of The Commandery gardens.
This prestigious exhibition will allow visitors to get up close and personal with all creatures great and small, from dancing grebes to gelatinous jellyfish, through a series of stunning, once-in-a-lifetime photographic captures.
The main exhibition will be outside in the wonderful surrounding of The Commandery’s gardens and a digital exhibition will be inside the museum.
The awards were created to celebrate the talents of both amateur and professional photographers, while simultaneously highlighting the great breadth of British natural history. They have also helped raise awareness about British biodiversity, species and habitats, encouraging all ages to discover, explore and help conserve our natural heritage. This year is the 10th anniversary of the awards.
Visitors will be able to view the exhibition as part of their visit to The Commandery. Entry is included in the museum entrance fee.
