This exhibition has now closed, find out what else is going on at Blenheim Palace

From Marilyn Monroe to Pablo Picasso, Cecil Beaton was best-known for his enigmatic portrait photography of the rich and famous – six decades of his images are on display here, dating back to the Roaring Twenties.

Cecil Beaton was once a regular visitor to Blenheim Palace, attending parties and events with artists, writers, aristocrats and royals who would become the sitters for some of his most well-known photographs. This exhibition includes portrait photographs of everyone from Hollywood icons Audrey Hepburn and Barbara Streisand to surrealist artist Salvador Dali.

50 fashion and portrait photographs show the parade of famous faces Beaton photographed, from the 1920s to the 1970s, and the dazzling high-society world he was immersed in throughout his career.
