This exhibition presents a history of Portsmouth in art from 1900 to the present day.

Showcasing key works from the city's 20th-century art collection and features new acquisitions and donations on display for the first time, Portsmouth revisited II celebrates a resounding spirit, diversity and resilience through the eyes of artists, and includes work by Derek Boshier, Pete Codling, Edward King, Karl Rudziak, Alice Kettle, Edward King and Jackie West.

Opening times

Tuesday to Sunday (plus Bank Holiday Mondays), 10am to 5.30pm. Last admission 4pm.

To ensure safety face coverings are mandatory and there are sanitising stations throughout the building for customer use. There is a new one way route round the building and the 2nd floor galleries remain closed. The cafe is due to re-open soon, please check the museum website at for daily updates.
