This exhibition has now closed, find out what else is going on at The Photographers' Gallery

The first major UK presentation of work by Czech photographer Jan Svoboda (1934–1990) since his first solo show at The Photographers’ Gallery back in 1982.

Co-organised with The Moravian Gallery in Brno, Czech Republic, the exhibition shows over 50 vintage works by pioneering conceptual photographer Jan Svoboda.

The show delves into Svoboda’s biography by including personal documents and video interviews, and sees the return of images featured in the Gallery 38 years ago, to commemorate the photographer’s first ever exhibition in the UK.
