.Juliet Wood is a portrait painter interested in the individual and common humanity.

This retrospective exhibition includes new paintings and oil pastels. Juliet Wood moves from direct observation into colour-rich reinvention from drawings, always recognising each individual while painting the crowd, or a common humanity when painting the individual. She sees how life is for people by their stance, their myriad, colourful, noisy or silent interactions, bringing a human touch to whatever she encounters.
