The first UK retrospective for the vivid, gritty American realist.

Widely celebrated in his short life, George Bellows (1882 - 1925) brought a kinetic panache to all his subjects, be they landscapes, views of the Hudson River, social scenes, or as in the case of his most famous work, an illegal boxing match.

The exhibition presents 71 works, including paintings, drawings and lithographs.
