This hands-on watery workshop will look at how an iceberg floats (and melts), you can take part in our flooded bulkhead experiment, endeavour to make a playdough boat float, or you can try out your Edwardian texting skills with some Morse Code. Morse Code and the wireless telegraph may seem a little simplistic to us in our modern lives, however as a recent technological advancement back in the early 1900s, the shipping industry loved this new way to communicate with ships at sea, and it was probably responsible for all the souls who were saved from the Titanic disaster.
