The tiger in Asian art

Zara Fleming is an independent art consultant, lecturer and exhibition curator specialising in Himalayan art and culture. Fascinated by Tibet from a young age, she led the first British tour there in 1981 and has lectured and guided trips to Bhutan, Ladakh, Zaskar, Spiti, Nepal and Mustang. Through the medium of Chinese, Japanese, Indian and Tibetan arts and artefacts, Zara will explore the impact of the tiger in the past and also the current threat of its extinction.

This event has been organised by the Shropshire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
