The Thrum and Pin of Botanical Drawing

Talk | Ness Botanical Gardens

Tuesday 18 October 2011 - 14:15 until 17:00

Josephine Hague will give an illustrated talk on the art of botanical drawing. As well as being Artist to Kew and contributor to Prince Charles's Highgrove Florilegium, Mrs Hague has been awarded 3 gold RHS medals and 2 silver gilt Lyndley medals for scientific excellence – awards rarely given to artists.

Mrs Hague graduated from the Liverpool Art School and originally trained as a textile designer. We will be serving tea and cake afterwards, and there will be an opportunity to ask Mrs Hague questions.
